Highlights

Scrap picked items directly in Admin Portal

You can now scrap durable items that are out in production directly from Admin Portal — no need to process them through the shop floor. Open the Picked Items overview, sort and filter the list, use multi-select to choose items, and press the scrap icon. If scrap reasons are required in your system, you will be prompted to enter one. You can also create custom views to focus on specific item groups, such as “All drilling items.” This dramatically reduces the time spent cleaning up obsolete tools that never come back through SFI. Redesigned automatic order creation

Scheduled scripts for automatic order creation have been completely redesigned. The new version uses a flexible rule builder with three parts — When (which quantities to consider), Is (the trigger condition), and Then (how much to order). You can now filter by item custom fields, category, and item type, and choose whether to include or exclude quoted items. Durable item ordering can now ignore items that are out in production, and the system can create both purchase and service orders. The classic scripts remain available during the transition. Multi-factor authentication required for account login

Admin Portal and account management now require multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all cloud user accounts. Users with Sandvik email addresses are authenticated through Sandvik Identity with single sign-on (SSO). This strengthens security for all customer environments. Learn more about logging in →

Fixes

  • Transactions are no longer missed in reporting when device sync runs during data recalculation.
  • Random freezing during Kardex operations (picking, assignment, inventory) has been resolved by fixing a race condition in the adapter.
  • Excel imports marked as “skipped” no longer partially modify item data or bypass validation rules.
  • Storage device settings now show a scrollbar on small monitors, making all fields accessible.
  • Items on a service list that are not assigned to any location can no longer be incorrectly deleted.
  • Item assignment steps are no longer skipped when using a touch display on SFI.
  • Storage modules are now ordered correctly by name (1, 2, 3… instead of 1, 10, 11…).
  • Manually uploaded documents are no longer replaced during catalog updates when file names match.
  • Unselected days in stock optimization calculations are now properly excluded from the evaluation.
  • Deleting an item location assignment during a running inventory no longer leaves the device locked.
  • The “Outgoing” status option has been removed from mass edit (use “Phase out” instead).
  • “Order directly to satellite” can no longer be set for assemblies, which cannot be purchased.
  • Location assignment quantities on SFI are now calculated correctly after inventory and restock operations.
  • Consignment invoice previews no longer fail when an item’s vendor has been changed after being added to the invoice.
  • Access control recalculation no longer fails when items without vendors appear in PAG quantity restriction settings.
