How to integrate Zoller TMS with CRIBWISE

What you can do

Connect Zoller TMS to CRIBWISE with an API key, so items created in Zoller appear in CRIBWISE, stock quantities flow back to Zoller, and Zoller can create pick lists.

Zoller developed the integration together with CRIBWISE for customers who use Zoller TMS for tool management and CRIBWISE as their storage and purchasing solution.

What the integration does

  • Any item created in Zoller TMS is also created in CRIBWISE.
  • Zoller TMS reads all stock data – the quantity of items in stock – from CRIBWISE and updates itself.
  • Zoller can create pick lists in CRIBWISE.

Before you start

From Zoller:

  • The customer installation must be on version 1.19.0 or later.
  • The Zoller TMS Silver package is required.
  • The integration package for CRIBWISE must be purchased from Zoller.

From CRIBWISE:

  • The Zoller TMS integration add-on subscription must be enabled on the customer account in the Customer Management Portal.

Quick start

Experienced users – connect the two systems in 3 steps:

  1. Open Admin portal → Administration → Integration → API keys.
  2. Create an API key.
  3. Add the key in the Zoller application.

Steps

Step 1 — Create an API key in CRIBWISE

  1. In the Admin Portal, go to Administration → Integration → API keys.
  2. Create a new API key.
  3. Copy the key.

Step 2 — Add the key in Zoller

In the Zoller application, add the API key from CRIBWISE.

Success: The integration between the two systems is activated immediately.

Troubleshooting

Problem Likely cause Fix
The API keys page is not available in the Admin Portal. Your user lacks integration rights, or the add-on is not enabled. Check the Zoller TMS integration add-on in the CMP, and ask an administrator for the required permission.
Zoller rejects the API key. The key was copied incompletely, or it belongs to another portal. Create a new key in the correct portal and paste the whole value.
Items created in Zoller do not appear in CRIBWISE. The Zoller installation is older than version 1.19.0, or the integration package was not purchased. Verify the Zoller version and package with your Zoller TMS contact.
