Supported storage devices — configuration reference

What you’ll learn

The module and location configuration of every storage device type CRIBWISE supports – drawer and module types, both dimensions, whether the module is controlled, and what a module represents.

Use it to check what a manufacturer supports before you create the storage device. The article for each device carries the same values with its own settings and prerequisites.


How to read the table

Column Meaning
Storage device manufacturer The manufacturer selected on the storage device.
Module type The drawer, column, tray or shelf type the row describes.
First dimension and Second dimension The ranges the location structure uses in that module.
Is controlled Whether the module itself is controlled by the machine.
Module is set per What one module represents – a drawer, a column, a tray or a cabinet.

Common confusion

People often think… But actually…
Any drawer type can be used with any manufacturer. The supported module types are fixed per manufacturer – see the rows above.
The dimensions can be chosen freely. They follow the module type. Only a few types, such as Lista LDC, allow custom dimensions.
Controlled means the location is lit up. Is controlled says whether the module is controlled by the machine, which decides whether CRIBWISE can open or address it.
