Manage items – Notifications

For each item several notifications can be setup to inform specific user about action performed on this item.

There are two types of notifications, email and on-screen.

When email is selected for an action, email message is send to defined addresses (‘Recipients addresses’) when action is performed with information about item and user who did the action.

When on-screen notification is selected, custom message can be entered for each action to inform user on SFI when he is performing the action. Following actions can be activated:

Pick Pick of item is confirmed User enters quantity selection screen for picking
Return Return of item is confirmed User enters quantity selection screen for returning
Purchase Order where item is added is changed to Active Item is added manually to purchase order
Goods received Goods received is confirmed on SFI or received quantity is increased by restock operation User mark item as received on Receive goods screen or received quantity is increased by restock operation
Scrap Scrap of item is confirmed User enters quantity selection screen for returning as scrap
Pick for service Pick of item against service list is confirmed User selects item for pick agains service order or list
Restock from service Restock of item from service list is confirmed When location is about to be opened when item is being restocked from service to location controlled storage device or when user selects that item has been placed to location when item is being restocked from service to open storage
Inventory Inventory of item is finished (on AP or SFI) N/A
Loan time exceeded Time of pick of serialized item with specific loan time is exceeded N/A
Bellow critical quantity Item quantity in at least one device is bellow critical quantity (more information about critical state here) N/A
Comment on pick/return Comment is made after pick or return operation where this item is involved N/A
