Report filters tab allows to define set of filters to filter reporting data coming from a data source. Filters available depends on selected data source. Selected filters will be applied always when report is opened in report viewer.

Time period to filter data can be set to dynamic value (f.e. Last 5 days, Last week). Filter will be applied dynamically to the date when report is opened or sent. Available filter values are based on historical or actual data. Based on this, filters can contain already deleted entities (f.e. removed devices) when historical data source is selected for the report.
When working with transactions data source, setting of filters correctly is essential to get meaningful report. For example, to obtain total consumption of items from transaction data, filter must be set to show only transactions of type Pick, Return and Scrap. As a starting point to create a new report, predefined report can be copied to have filters set correctly. Advanced filters defined in report viewer will not override filters set in report definition. It can only further filter provided data.
