Admin Portal	AP	Application used to manage environment of connected SFIs and information within the system. Acts as server.
Shop Floor Interface	SFI	Application used by end users to perform daily use operations with physical storage devices. Acts as client, thus must be connected to AP.
Product Access Group	PAG	Group containing specific items and rules to restrict users to operate with items.
Cost Allocation	CA	Information about picked items defining for with purpose and to what location item has been picked.
Item		Object, that can be picked, returned and managed within stock location.
Pick		Operation to get item out of a device to use this item in production.
Return		Operation to get item back to a device from production.
Restock		Operation to add additional items to stock location.
Inventory		Operation to check real quantity with quantity stored in the system and correct it.
Device		SF and HW running SFI installation serves as interface for end users.
Storage device		Physical cabinet or shelf containing stock locations.
Stock location		Position within storage device where items can be stored.
Location controlled storage device		Storage device which can automatically open or present stock location or set of stock locations.
Open storage device		Storage device without automatically controlled stock locations where all operations must be performed manually .
