Import items from GTC package
To import GTC package, select GTC package as import source. Select vendor and manufacturer from existing vendors and manufacturers and browse for GTC package. GTC package in version 2.0 in ZIP format can be selected for import. See specification for import.
After import of package, all items contained in the package are listed. Own item ID can be changed to create item in the system with different ID. Own item ID must be unique.
Start import by pressing Import package button. Result screen is shown displaying progress and status of each imported item. After import is finished, items are accessible in the system together will all information and documents available in the package.
If the GTC package contains assembly data, import will create the assembly as a new item and assign all related assembly items to it (all items, which are part of the assembly, must be provided in the same package).
Status of all imported items is set to “Defined (imported)” to allow changing of item type. Change status of imported items to Released to allow synchronization of items to SFI and assigning them to locations.
