Based on physical quantity and physical maximum quantity on stock location situation can happen, when there is not enough space to finish an operation. This can typically occur during restock. It this case system will show information screen with quantity selected for the operation and quantity available.
Following options are available to deal with this situation:
- Confirm and continue – quantity for operation will be decreased to fit into available space, in example above from 10 to 6. To continue, press Confirm
- Assign item to another location – new location for this item can be assigned directly during the operation. Select item in the list and press Assign item button (2). Select location and fill assignment options. If open storage device or LDC drawer is connected, new location can be created for these storage devices as described in Create a new location.
3. Edit existing assignment – existing assignment can be updated to increase available space or change stock location rule. Select item in the list and press Edit assignment option (3). Select assignment to edit, update and save assignment.
