This situation can happen if the device has not been synced for more than 30 days, it is locked or if update button is not displayed after login to SFI.
When auto update functionality cannot be started, update is possible using Application Manager.
Perform following steps to proceed with update:
1. Close SFI UI
Login with account with privileges to exit the application. If not possible to log in, use keyboard shortcut CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+Q.
2. Shut down SFI
In the system tray, right click the brand icon and select Exit.
3. Open Application Manager
The Application Manager could be found via search in Windows task bar by simply typing application manager or in your chosen destination.
4. In Application Manager, update should be visible if it is available on server. Select Update to start the update process.
Update button will be shown instead of modify.
5. Restart the computer after update is finished to start the SFI again.
Before version 1.41
Perform following steps to proceed with update for version 1.40 or older:
1. Close SFI UI
Login with account with privileges to exit the application. If not possible to log in, use keyboard shortcut CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+Q.
2. Open task manager and close process Platform Host.
Task manager can be opened by shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+TAB.
3. Select File-> New task

4. In new window, enter explorer and start it
5. In Windows Explorer, navigate to folder C:\ProgramData\<brand name>\Source\Manager and start CD.Manager.Gui.exe
If ProgramData folder is not shown, select to show hidden items or enter folder directly in explorer path.
Folder name of application will be different according installed brand:
– CoroPlus Tool Supply
– SecoPoint
– CRIBWISE
– Prolog
– Tool Station
6. In Application Manager, update should be visible if it is available on server. Select Update to start the update process.
Update button will be shown instead of modify.
7. Restart the computer after update is finished to start the SFI again.
