Inventory from Admin Portal application can be performed only for open storage devices. Devices must be locked before inventory can be started. To lock device, open device detail and select ‘Lock device’ option. Device must be online before this operation can be performed.
To start inventory, select Inventory option from the main menu.
Then stock must be selected.
Based on selected stock all devices containing open storage devices are listed.
Select at least one device and confirm selection by Select devices option.
If there is unfinished inventory in the system, these steps are skipped and previously started inventory automatically continues.
Select items on locations for inventory and press Select items to confirm selection.
After items are selected, inventory starts. Every started inventory must be finished before another one can be started.
To perform inventory, following controls are available:
Opens detail of selected item to set real quantity and reason code. Reason code is mandatory when real quantity differs from expected quantity 
Finishes current inventory
When inventory is finished, inventory summary is shown and new inventory can start. To enable users to use this device, go to device detail and unlock it.
