Background

Sävjo Plastic is a specialist fabrications business based in Sweden and has been working with plastics since 1967. The company has scaled up at an immense rate in the last 8 years: with rising demand for the manufacture a particular product driving this growth as well as being a catalyst for automating the entire factory. 

 

Today, Sävjo Plastic’s facilities include automated lines and robotics running around the clock. The company uses ABB-Wemo-Fanuc robots fitted with suction cups, supplied by Göhlins, that grip boxes of finished product and package them in the best way possible. For Sävjo Plastic, these suction cups are essential for efficient box handling and ensuring the seamless operation of the manufacturing process. Their constant availability is crucial for maintaining steady production output.
