In April we launched our new Customer Management Portal (CMP) where Account administrators and Sales partners can manage and track their quotes, orders, deliveries and get a full overview of assets and charges. We connect and give an overview of status both from our hardware suppliers and service providers into one view for our customers and sales partners.
Since the release we worked continuously to improve the user experience and to fix issues reported by our Sales partners and Suppliers.
Below you can find the detailed list of improvements and bugs included in the release.
| Length validation for company name (max 50 characters) | We added a length validation for company name when signing up a new customer or adding a prospect, due to integration restrictions. The maximum length for the company name is 50 characters. |
| Email sanitization | In case the user pasted the e-mail in the signup form or user creation, and the email contained hidden characters (this could happen when copy paste from teams or a pdf or similar), the request failed when we tried to create the user. We implemented a validation and sanitization to avoid this behavior. |
| Actual number of devices installed | We fixed the bug regarding the number of devices currently installed in Admin Portal. This value is correctly shown in the customer details – Subscription view. |
| Order recurring addons for active customers | If the subscription is active and the user orders a new recurring addon, then we prorate the value of the addon (the same as for increasing the quantity of the subscription). The invoice will be created immediately with the prorated charge. |
| Delivery term for hardware orders and quotes | The delivery term is saved on the quote and order level. |
| Overlapping text for small screens | We fixed the overlapping text for quote and order details view in case of small screens. |
| Notes from sales partner to supplier in order details | The notes left by the sales partner to the supplier are now visible in the order details view. |
| User email in quotes and orders detail view | We fixed the user’s email shown in the quotes and orders detail view. Now the email displayed is the one for the user that added the quote or order, and not the generic Sales Unit email. |
| Quote availability | A quote is active 30 days after the supplier sends the quote offer. Before the count started from the quote creation date. |
